Hart Marketing Group (HMG) is an established boutique agency specializing in 4 different disciplines of business: Hart Entertainment Inc. (Amusement Rentals for Special Events such as Casino Tables, Inflatables, Arcade Games, etc.). Flash Events (Photo Booths, Props, Backdrops), Frosh Carnival (University experiential marketing & trial sampling), and MMI Product Placement (brand integration/ product placement in Film and TV). We are an ever-growing company, committed to excellence in customer service, client servicing, and product innovation.
This is a rare opportunity for a driven individual to gain unparalleled experience in an established Corporate Events + Marketing company. This intern will have a hand in all areas of our business, supporting each division as projects arise. As such, the successful candidate needs to be a strong multi-tasker and be able to turn on a dime when necessary: “A Jack of all trades”.
POSITION OVERVIEW & REQUIREMENTS
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
TRIPLE THREAT- Exceptionally Organized, Detail-Oriented +Excellent Time Management – We are looking for a triple threat to project manage and assist with day-to-day office execution.
Shining Star - We are looking for a “shining star” who can jump in and help our team out in a number of areas.
Positive Can-Do Attitude - The ideal candidate must have a creative mind and the ability to generate new and exciting ideas. They must have a very outgoing personality and be strategy driven. Needless to say, being a “self-starter”, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic is critical for success. You must be the type of person who really enjoys working with people, events, clients, and cultivating relationships. Naturally providing outstanding customer service to our existing and prospective clients is paramount for our continued success and growth. You need to be comfortable with picking up the phone and talking to our clients in an engaging and professional manner.
Web 2.0 Guru: Social Media / Computer Knowledge / Design - Being current with all main streams of ‘digital’ is important to us. This includes learning our current website & social platforms and updating them when necessary, understanding best practice with social media, and having knowledge and experience using Photoshop, In-design, Mac /iMovie, Quick Time editing, Pages and keynote for Mac, Microsoft Word/Excel & Power Point.
Job responsibilities within each division include, but are not limited to the following.
Hart Entertainment Inc. / Flash Events
Office Management: Putting events into our company data base, sending agreements & invoices to clients, answering phone calls,
Photo Booth Management: Put together client logos/custom branding for photo booths, post event photos on website, and stay up-to-date on upcoming events
Learn, troubleshoot, and become an expert using our amusement equipment (Photo Booths, Arcade Games, etc.) – this includes cleaning equipment in warehouse + other warehouse duties
Update our website as requested
Marketing & Social Media: Assist with our various flyer mail-outs throughout the year, email marketing campaigns, and social media
Miscellaneous tasks as they arise
Developing product knowledge & understanding of our services + taking on your own clients
MMI Product Placement:
Reading TV & Film scripts to isolate placement opportunities
Watching TV & Movies to capture brand placements (requires knowledge of iMovie and other MAC programs)
Putting together Product Packages to send to TV/FILM Productions
Client servicing (developing and nurturing existing and prospective relationships with major clients and TV/Film Productions)
Assist with various tasks as they arise during our busy & exciting Frosh Carnival Tour
Assist & operate with school events during our annual Frosh Carnival Tour
Manage Social Media Campaign during tour & Assist with event photography
Working for a boutique agency will allow the successful candidate to develop a skill set that can take years to cultivate in the traditional marketing community.
